Privacy

The short version: this site collects as little as possible, and sells nothing about you to anyone.

What this site collects directly

Nothing. There is no account system, no comment form storing your details, and no tracking script written by us. The site is static files served from a CDN.

What third parties may collect

Some things are outside our control, and honesty is more useful than a blanket denial:

• Hosting. The site is served by GitHub Pages, which logs requests including IP addresses for security and abuse prevention.
• Fonts. Typefaces load from Google Fonts, which receives a request from your browser.
• Advertising. If advertising is running, Google AdSense and its partners may set cookies and use identifiers to serve and measure ads. You can review and change your settings at Google Ads Settings. Visitors in the EEA and UK are shown a consent prompt before any personalised advertising cookie is set.
• Affiliate links. Links to booksellers may carry a referral code identifying this site as the source of the visit. That tells the retailer where you came from; it does not tell us who you are.
• Email. If you subscribe, your address is held by our email provider solely to send the newsletter. Unsubscribe at any time using the link in any message.

Your rights

If you are in the UK, EEA or California you have rights over any personal data held about you, including access, correction and deletion. Since the only personal data this site can hold is an email address you gave voluntarily, the practical answer is usually to unsubscribe — but write to hello@veiledantiquity.com and we will act on any request.

Children

This site is not directed at children under 13 and does not knowingly collect their data.
